Yo East Coast, where you at?
Hello, fellow D-toiders, my name is Andrew and I reside in New York City. It has been such an amazing experience being a part of this wonderful community. From my activities as a host of the Friday Night Fight events to becoming one of the community members responsible for handling the Destructoid NY group, coordinating East Coast meetups to helping the PAX meetup group, I have loved every minute of my time spent with this community.
Please hang out with other Dtoid members whether it would on the main site chat to your local Dtoid group. It can be life changing, trust me on that.

This is something that we saw coming a mile away. Rock Band 2 has been formally announced by HMX. IGN was able to get an interview with the Dan Teasdale of HMX which revealed two main sticking points to the game. First, Rock Band 1 DLC will be compatible with Rock Band 2 and vice versa. Secondly, your Rock Band 1 instruments will compatible with Rock Band 2.
Finally, my DLC purchases are justified but I now know that I may be purchasing another years worth of DLC. My wallet and hard drive are sobbing as we speaking. Picture of the new Guitar:

This could be the first song for Rock Band 2. It is Nirvana's Drain You. It is becoming likely that we will be seeing Nevermind Album DLC at around the release of this game.

Thank god RB1 DLC is compatible with RB2! I will be able to play NIN, QOTSA and Bowie after all!
If I'm not NDA'ed I'll post up.
Also, I know that Rock Band has the full package in quality and whatnot, but based on the list of bands released for World Tour, I might go for that instead.
