As you may know, there was a special Gears of War 2 panel at the New York Comic Con. The
focus of the panel was a reflection on the Gears of War universe as a whole

Unfortunately, there was not much being talked about at the session but there was one thing
of note. The question of how were the Locusts were going to portrayed in the sequel came up.

Their response was that story of Gears of War 2 would flesh out the Locust character's story
and make them more than a group of grunting behemoths. It really nice to hear that they are
really looking to improving the storyline in this game.

I had a really great time this weekend. The best part of the weekend was when I had dinner
with several members of D-Toid including Nick Chester and his wife, Topher, .Tiff, Samit,
Phist, Cowzilla 3, and A. Pidgin) I will post something a little more significant in the future
about the event with pictures.
