Yo East Coast, where you at?
Hello, fellow D-toiders, my name is Andrew and I reside in New York City. It has been such an amazing experience being a part of this wonderful community. From my activities as a host of the Friday Night Fight events to becoming one of the community members responsible for handling the Destructoid NY group, coordinating East Coast meetups to helping the PAX meetup group, I have loved every minute of my time spent with this community.
Please hang out with other Dtoid members whether it would on the main site chat to your local Dtoid group. It can be life changing, trust me on that.

As you may know, there was a special Gears of War 2 panel at the New York Comic Con. The
focus of the panel was a reflection on the Gears of War universe as a whole Unfortunately, there was not much being talked about at the session but there was one thing of note. The question of how were the Locusts were going to portrayed in the sequel came up. Their response was that story of Gears of War 2 would flesh out the Locust character's story and make them more than a group of grunting behemoths. It really nice to hear that they are really looking to improving the storyline in this game. I had a really great time this weekend. The best part of the weekend was when I had dinner with several members of D-Toid including Nick Chester and his wife, Topher, .Tiff, Samit, Phist, Cowzilla 3, and A. Pidgin) I will post something a little more significant in the future about the event with pictures.
