Marvel vs. Capcom 2 shows up on the ESRB website for PS360

Unfortunately, there is no way to directly link you guys to the source but I can tell you that the ESRB listing for Marvel vs. Capcom 2, now, has Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on the list of platforms that the game is available for. This means that there is a likely XBLA and PSN release of MVC2 in the future. I think I speak for everyone here when I say they are really excited for this news.Oh, It's mahvel baybee.

Not excited at all :(

Every console port of MvC2 (besides the Dreamcast one) has been a nasty, buggy mess.

And at this point, due to the licensing hell of the Marvel characters, I'm pretty sure a few of them may be cut from any 360/PSN release.

So while it is good news, I'll just wait and see what happens with it.

The Gamecube port was pretty dodgy in my opinion. Although it was cool using the C-Stick for 'power' matches with Rugal vs Zangief.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUCK YES! I have wanted to play this online forEVER. FINALLY! I still have my DC copy, but it's been collecting dust since there's nobody around with enough skills. I am SO happy right now. Now I need a release date.

(I just hope that the 360 version isn't an "Xbox Originals" version, but a XBLA version...)

This is really news of the day for me. Tracking down copies of MvsC2 is god damn hard. I recently got a copy off ebay only for it to be scratched and glitching. Live and PSN could so do with this game to play.

If this is true, I'd so love for Capcom to get it onto PSP too. Either that or I'll need a pandora to run it.

Great news! I had the DC version, and played the shit out of it, but I've sold my dream cast, and all the games with it.

But if it's coming out as XBLA, or actual CD, I'll make my friend buy it ( I don't own any modern consoles).
