Yo East Coast, where you at?
Hello, fellow D-toiders, my name is Andrew and I reside in New York City. It has been such an amazing experience being a part of this wonderful community. From my activities as a host of the Friday Night Fight events to becoming one of the community members responsible for handling the Destructoid NY group, coordinating East Coast meetups to helping the PAX meetup group, I have loved every minute of my time spent with this community.
Please hang out with other Dtoid members whether it would on the main site chat to your local Dtoid group. It can be life changing, trust me on that.

Unfortunately, there is no way to directly link you guys to the source but I can tell you that the ESRB listing for Marvel vs. Capcom 2, now, has Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on the list of platforms that the game is available for. This means that there is a likely XBLA and PSN release of MVC2 in the future. I think I speak for everyone here when I say they are really excited for this news.Oh, It's mahvel baybee.

I would have preferred MvC but hey, this is still awesome news.
Every console port of MvC2 (besides the Dreamcast one) has been a nasty, buggy mess.
And at this point, due to the licensing hell of the Marvel characters, I'm pretty sure a few of them may be cut from any 360/PSN release.
So while it is good news, I'll just wait and see what happens with it.

(I just hope that the 360 version isn't an "Xbox Originals" version, but a XBLA version...)
If this is true, I'd so love for Capcom to get it onto PSP too. Either that or I'll need a pandora to run it.
Seriously one of the most fun fighting games ever.
