Wow, doesn't this look familiar. If you can't tell, there are the usual five fret buttons in their usual spots and, then, there are five frets that at the bottom of the neck. Gee, I wonder what they are meant for.
Well, this picture shows us that we will probably be able to use our original GH controllers because there is no way on Earth I want to be forced into buying a another guitar controller.

In the GameInformer article, they talked about "clear notes" on the fret runway. Are they extra "solo notes" to be played with the lower buttons?

Oh it is totally obvious they are coping RB. I mean there is no way they aren't. If RB hadn't come around we'd probably be seeing GH4 in the same vein as GH 1, 2 and 3.

They maybe copying RB but at least they are trying to add new features in as well. Who knows if it'll turn out to be any good though... but competition is good yes? hopefully it'll drive harmonix to do something even better
