According to a survey that was found over at Kotaku, the unannounced Rock Band sequel will feature "120 songs from the 60's, 70's, 80, 90's 00's". That includes "songs from gods of rock like AC/DC and many, many others."
What is more amazing then the idea of having TNT or Thunderstruck in the game is the idea that, if Harmonix is able to bring over DLC from the first game, I could have possibly over 400 songs in Rock Band 2. That possibility is just mind boggling. Activision may have a fight on their hands. Source

Dangit, they scooped me! And I just posted a damn blog about this same thing.
Son of a vondruke. All I want is more QotSA songs, other than their cliche list of songs that are in every other racing game.

I'm just a bit pissed off that there's now talk of Rock Band 2, but here in Australia we still don't have the original one. Christ, it was only last month Europe got it. Bit tired of feeling second rate.

Rock Band 2 + ACDC = Give up Guitar Hero
Pretty funny that this rumor is going around today. I'm borrowing Rock Band from a friend, so I don't have any DLC, and I don't plan on getting any. I was thinking, damn, this game rips you off so much. You spend like $180 on the entire package and you get like 45 songs? That is fucked up. Then they expect you to pay $2 a song. After 30 songs, you have spent enough for the game disc alone. You could have bought the game twice for 75 songs, where Guitar Hero gives you 73 on the disc. I know, "Treyarch sux balls" "Rock Band is the shit" "There are no drums in GH3." "Each song in Rock Band is like 8 songs cuz you can play drums, and with your friends, and online..." I'm sick of this "ROCK BAND IS PERFECT" bullshit. Gamers always bitch that DLC costs money, yet the shell out so much money for songs on Rock Band. Its a fun game, but people are counting Guitar Hero 4 out to soon. But that is the mentality of gamers, decide how good a game is before you play it.
If Rock Band 2 has AC/DC in it, and if Rock Band DLC is compatible with it, I will be buying it at midnight on launch day.
BMDUBYA, that would be 58 songs not 45 because if you are not counting bonus songs GH3 only has 40.
Make that 46 songs on GH 3's main setlist.
If there is Meltdown, I will be a happy boy.
