Flatout, what can I say? I personally hated this game. Well not hated but strongly disliked. Although I'm sure most would agree that Flatout could've been a great game.
Since there is no story I'll start off with gameplay. The car you have is always the worst. When I say that, I mean the other cars are always better than you unless you completely upgrade your car. The handling is, hmm... better than Gran Turismo? Although thats not saying much(thats actually not saying anything). The ragdoll physics are pretty bad, like on the high jump mini game the character just keeps spinning when launched out of the car. Flat out has a bunch of mini games, which are much better than the racing(it's more fun to upgrade your car than to race). The mini games I remember are Darts, high jump, long jump, demolition derby, bowling, and some clown game. They are basically all the same you just launch your limp body at stuff, it's actually fun. My favorite is high jump because it's so funny watching the body spin so many times.
Sorry for the short review but come on it's Flatout. I don't recommend this game because it gets old fast. Oh yeah I'm not sure if I'm reviewing a game this Friday or not.

Since there is one paragraph I'll start off with the opening. The yellow paintbrush title is always the worst. When I say that, I mean the time he took to put that image there parallels the time he took putting together a review. His argument is, hmm... based on the standards of current games? Although thats not saying much(thats actually not saying anything). He makes some good points, like how Flatout is just brainless fun and doesn't ask to be interpreted as anything else. His sentence structure is like reading a bunch of mini games, which are much better than the whole paragraph(it's more fun to copy paste his article than to read it). The points I remember most are how he lists off all the mini games vaguely. His sentences are basically all the same, and I think he actually likes the game. My favorite is how I think he really does like Flatout, but it's nothing like the current gen racing titles, so he's severely conflicted.

thats just mean. But true I did just throw this together I didn't know what to review. Your review was pretty good though.
If you ever need any quick art for these, let me know! But a tip I could give you for your next Blast from the Past review (esp if it's kinda recent like Flatout) is to write about how close they got to the standards of today's racing mechanics, or how they failed in that regard.
