Yeah, it was a good game. I know there was at least one other game w/ a Native American as the protagonist though. Can't think of the name atm.
turok?
lol, custer's revenge ftw!
too bad the protag wasn't an indian though :P
love this game, but strangely enough my main problem with it is that you can't die. It takes some of the challenge out of it! And also there were a couple of puzzles that really pissed me off and were very obscure.
Prey was a good time. I have to agree with double2's comment about not dying taking out the challenge. You die, you arrow some spirit beasts and you're back - rinse repeat. The portal travel got me all kinds of amped for Portal too.
Agreed - but it does make it less annoying to die in a boss battle and not have to completely restart the level, if I happened to forget to save right before the battle, and completely repeat the whole entire stage... like some games do.
I really liked the box portals where you'd look through and see yourself looking through one to the side... heh, that was weird o.O
As Tommy says many times throughout the game... "This place is f*cked up!"
This was an amazing game...my favorite FPS on the 360.I don't count the Halo's; they are in a league of their own.
It's too bad people stopped playing it after a while...I think last time I checked there were only 2 people online. The PC version is the same way too. I bought it from Steam thinking there would be quite a few more people playing on the PC...right? Nope. Most of the time there is absolutely no one online.
The only bad thing about the game was the achievements. They were way too easy. I had all 1000 points in just 2 days. Now I am patiently awaiting the sequel...
Sorry to double post (and stray slightly off topic), but I forgot to add on to what cjpkiller said. TUROK!!! I absolutely loved those games...the last one could have been a bit better though. Turok: Dinosaur Hunter was the first game I owned on my personal favorite console (remember...this is an opinion), the Nintendo 64.
Oh my...the nineties...such great times!
BTW... was anyone else really weirded out by the Va-jay-jays that some enemies came out of, and WENT INTO, to get around?
I freakin' love this game.
