I'm a 23 year old artist/teacher. While in University I experimented mostly with Animation, Video, and Games.
The lovely [dearly departed] Anthony Burch* featured the fruits of my experimentation here on Destructoid as part of the Indie Nation Series Which probably is one of the coolest things that has ever happened to me! One of many reasons why I love Destructoid.
*The [formerly] Resident Person Named Anthony Who Isn't Anthony Perri.
My first console was the SNES. It remains my favourite, and I've been playing games ever since without pause. Recently I've been a little burned out on the modern sensibilities of a suddenly overwhelmingly Western market. Most of the HD games don't appeal to me.
I currently live in Korea where I teach english and avoid Starcraft [and the north].

So, this generation I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by 'bald space marines' and 'brown' as I'm sure everybody else is, it's why I have a Wii. Sensless violence sort of looses its lustre after a while, but you may very well need it every now and then, right? Well where No More Heroes stepped in last year on the Wii, and Madworld looks to up the ante in many ways. The game has a unique style, high gore, and a seemingly riteous sense of humour. Right now it looks a bit dirivitive - to be honest. But this is only a terrible trailer (all gameplay obviously) Considering the studio I think we should expect big things. Oh yes, you have a chainsaw for a hand. This was apparently leaked from a SEGA even held last Wednesday. Embargoes seem to have become as important as the Canadian military budget. Anyways, enjoy. Seeing "Mad World" with a chainsaw around it reminds me of Gears, not to mention the character animations, and their bulkiness. Hope it's not just a cheap "me too" title for bloodthirsty Wii owners, and actually does something worthwhile like NMH.
