So I have always been kind of a pussy when it comes to playing anything remotely scary. Because of this I haven't ever succeeded in playing and of the Silent Hill or Resident Evil games, but I thoroughly enjoy watching anyone else play while screaming like a little girl. However, I did try my very best to play through the original Tomb Raider games (which I never managed to beat because as usual, I played on someone else's console). I did play Tomb Raider: Legends for PS2 and manage to beat it (YAY me!) but I still consider the game scary. Anything in the first person scares me. But I'm trying to get over the fear because I really like a lot of the games. Except for Fatal Frame. Holy shit. NEVER NEVER NEVER. I would have nightmares forever.

Anyway, I saw a recent post done by GamingGoddess (she may very well be my new hero) and decided to do a drawing of my own. This is probably my first time posting my art on the internet where other people could actually see it. So try to be gentle.



PS my camera totally sucks (well, not really I just don't know how to use it yet) and I don't have a scanner >.<
Therefore, my pictures look like crap.



This was my reference. I didn't do anything too original because this was done on a whim and it's a warm up to get me drawing some new shit. I have an interview for the school of my dreams next week (Joe Kubert) and I'm desperate to get in. Me getting into this school = web comic and lots of new art.

This piece was done with pencil, then transferred with pink oil pastel and finished with watercolor and pencil. Approx. time spent: 3 hours
