Hi. Wanna take a trip back in time with me? Ok, cool, we're gonna go back to about a month ago, where I said this on our glorious aniversary:

I’M GETTING A MOTHERFUCKING DESTRUCTOID TATTOO AT PAX!!!

At least, that’s what I hope to do. As my birthday present to this wonderful community, I want to forever have its logo emblazoned on my body, for all to see. If anyone wants to know who I am, they can look to my tattoo and know, above all else, I’m a part of the Destructoid Army.

Now, many of you called me crazy, stupid, brave, sexy, intelligent, well-hung, and other things for attempting to do such a thing. But, I stand by my promise: this thing is gonna happen. How am I so sure I'm gonna do this? I'm gettting it for free. Why?


NIERO'S PAYING!

Yep, in an e-mail conversation between Niero and myself, I was told by our One True Robot Lord that he will recoup all expenses necessary to get this tattoo done. In fact, he directed me to the lovely Qais Fulton, who helped me find a few shops in Seattle to get the piece done! Needless to say, this was more than generous, and I just wanna thank Niero once again.

So, where does that leave the rest of you? Well, In these next coming months I'm going to request the help of this lovely community to figure a few things out. That all starts here tonight:

I'm calling on any and all Dtoid artists/doodlers/what-have-yous to come forth and give me tattoo designs. Basically, I'd like something small (no bigger than 5 inches...Jesus, how many times have I said that?*), and it has to be your interpretation of Mr. Destructoid's head. I have 2 designs I like so far, and I'm looking for more. Why? Well, once I have in a bunch of designs, I'm gonna have the community vote for which piece will be forever emblazoned on my hairy, goulish-white flesh. YES, YOU, THE COMMUNITY, WILL DETERMINE WHICH TATTOO I GET!

Here's how it's gonna work: anyone who wants to enter, send me a PM or an email (at pendelton21@gmail.com) with your piece of art. My favorite 5 pieces will go head-to-head in a community poll, where anyone in the community can vote on the winner. Said winner will not only get to revel in the fact that your art will be eternally etched onto me, but they'll also get a $20 PSN/360/Wii point card for their efforts.

All submissions MUST BE SENT IN by WEDNESDAY night at MIDNIGHT. The winners will be posted, and the poll readied 2 weeks from today. So, be sure to come back and choose what I get tattooed on my body!!!
