As far as video games go, I've been a gamer since I was two-and-a-half. I try to play whatever interests me, despite what other people think of those games. I don't consider myself to be a "casual" gamer, but I also don't take games unbelievably seriously. They're games, after all. They're meant to be enjoyed, not obsessed over. I never base whether I buy a game or not on a single review -- I have to try the game for myself to be totally sure.

IGN has some new info about Mario Kart Wii, and I like what I've read. It looks like this may be the biggest online 1st-party game for the Wii yet, supporting up to 12 players at once. Not only that, but the game will be packed with 32 tracks, 16 of which are brand new for this game. The Miis will apparently be able to be chosen as Kart or bike (?) riders as well, and some courses will support mid-air tricks with the Karts. And there will apparently be a new channel included right on the disc --- Hooray for taking up more precious space! I'm actually quite excited for this. If Smash Bros. wasn't coming out in less than a month (!), I'd be looking more forward to this than any other game announced right now. I've always been a Mario Kart fan, and it's good to see that this may end up being the best one we'll see yet. Source: IGN
