As far as video games go, I've been a gamer since I was two-and-a-half. I try to play whatever interests me, despite what other people think of those games. I don't consider myself to be a "casual" gamer, but I also don't take games unbelievably seriously. They're
games, after all. They're meant to be enjoyed, not obsessed over. I never base whether I buy a game or not on a single review -- I have to try the game for myself to be totally sure.

like a real man
If I had a DS, that would honestly be the first game I'd get. I really want to play it, but I just don't do much handheld gaming anymore. :(
Who else is up to the challenge?
OH IT'S ON NOW. :P
Maybe I can do it in under an hour with practice. But I doubt I'll have time to do it within a month like I told Silverdragon. You guys are faster than me at finishing Mega Man 9.
I withdraw my acceptance of SilverDragon's challenge and tip my hat to both you and pedrovay. Well done fellas.
how many times did you turn off your console after losing your last life ;D
Which system are you guys playing on?
I'm playing on the Wii. Retro Mega Man games just don't feel right on anything else. :P
@Scribble
Heh, you forget, to go with the not dying thing, even one life lost means starting over. :P There were lots of specific four-letter words that I screamed quite a few times. :P
Honestly, it helped that this was my third playthrough. Knowing the stages and what you're in for really helps a ton.
took 5 times longer to finish the game that way though
It's true, saving does help. For the record, I only actually had to reload my save once single time, so I'm still quite proud of myself. :P
i have already died but ive beaten concrete man galaxy man and jewel man in 7:59
my blog should be up soon with the details
You sir, have my privilege to touch my genitals.
That's the greatest icon I've ever seen in my life.
im afraid i showed him a way to improve it
im sorry
I'm honestly thinking of doing that next. I used like 2 during this playthrough, but I really needed them.
Got pictures? You should make a blog about it.
No point in making a blog about it when the best people have beat this shit in like 25 minutes. THAT is disgusting. Still, I hope to get the remaining 3 achievements I need in the 360 version. I think Conservationist and No Coffee Break will be tough though. Pedrovay, I too only used 2 E tanks on my run. Both on the final part of the Wily fight too. Hard to dodge those energy ball attacks. Just watched a video on youtube though and I think I know how to dodge them now.
You're playing the 360 version? A question for you, then...
Does the 360 version have more than 12 Challenges? There are like 30 Challenges in the Wii and PS3 versions, but there are only the standard 12 Achievements in the 360 version. Do you just get nothing else for the others, or were the rest of them just completely left out?
