achivements would be just the thing to get me playing animal crossing games again, they would actually make all that collecting shit worth it.
Acheivements arent and shouldn't be the game
Achievements or trophies in Animal Crossing would completely defeat the purpose of what the game is really about. Plus the way we think AC should be is completely opposite to how Nintendo feels it should be. This is Pokemon all over again :(
What you're describing sounds a hell of a lot like Home.
yeah i realized that it sounded a bit like Home, but im thinking more of an actual game....where you do stuff. And i dont see how achievements take the point out of the game...if anything i think it adds to it. I guarantee i wont collect even close to all of the items in animal crossing for wii...throw some achievements my way...then ill be at it for much much longer. and dont get me started on pokemon...a well done wii version of this IP would sell millions, well, itd still do better on a service like xbox live.
