Its week 2 of the Hanabi Festival! Yeah I didn't notice last week either. A big fat 4 games plucked directly from the import aisle for us Euro types, one of which is that rare beast, a Turbografx shooter! Remember that while these games are mostly awesome you will be forking out more points than usual for them.
Game 1 - Puyo Puyo 2
Mega Drive - 900 Points
I've been waiting for this for ages. Puyo Puyo was the first game to implement the garbage system that makes Puyo Puyo so much fun to play for me. That makes this 2 very good multiplayer puzzle games in as many weeks. That is a very good thing, we're somewhat starved for that sort of thing around here.
Game 2 - Cho Aniki
Turbografx-16 - 900 Points
ITS CHO ANIKI!! As far as I'm concerned that's all you need to know but going into other details its a side scrolling shooter with very muscular half naked men. Enough said.
Game 3 - Break In
Turbografx-16 - 700 Points
Here's a mystery for me. There's no Wikipedia page, no screenshots I can find on Google and overall absolutely nothing I can find on this game. Therefore I have absolutely no idea what the hell this is. Anyone who actually knows please let me know, I'm just far too lazy to turn my Wii on.
Game 4 - Metal Slug
Neo Geo - 900 Points
Oh yes, its Metal Slug. You really don't need me to talk about this. Manic side scrolling shooting with a massive reliance on you having that Wii Arcade Stick.
So there you go, a good (3300 points, expensive) second week to the festival. We'll be back with another big fat bag of games next week. Might be some surprises eh?
