I'm a woman who loves her video games. I'm also pretty much a nerd for all that is nerdy: MST3K/Riff Trax, Star Wars, Anime/Manga, Kevin Smith, X-men Comics, and of course all things video games. Someday, I would look to get paid to write for and/or about video games. I'm awesome, so it'll will probably happen.

I have a strong hatred for the Atlantic Ocean.

Mini-Narp Mini Recap: Drinking With Dtoiders, East Coast Style

Last Saturday, there was a Mini-NARP at Zen Albatross's place in Long Island. Members in attendance: Zen Albatross, Tino, Powerglove, and myself. Unfortunately my camera batteries are dead and I can't upload photos right now, but here's some of the awesomeness that happened:

1. Lots of Beer.

2. Playing Donkey Konga while drinking said beer.

3. While talking about scientology, I was drunk enough to mispronounce as "slolentology" and thus, a new religion was born.

4. Watching Chad play PaRappa the Rapper in "The nth Mile." I didn't know Chad had his thug license.

5. I apparently, when drunk, encourage people to "catch up." I was very insistent that Tino was not drinking enough beer.

6. One of the TVs in Zen Albatross's basement has feet. This was very confusing. Zen Albatross explained that soon it would have eyes. More confusing.

7. Drunk dial message for Ron Workman. Phone was passed around to everyone. I have no memory of anything I said.

8. I confused the hell out of both myself and Tino by falling asleep on one couch and waking up on another.

9. Grilled cheese sandwiches in the morning! Hooray!

Zen, Tino, and powerglove, feel free to comment here with any details I missed (seeing as I was probably the most drunk). This is branded a success: I got totally smashed with a bunch of guys I met on the internet and no inappropriateness followed! Hooray for destructoid!

Grilled cheese sandwiches are good ANY time... even better if you add a bit of ham to them. YEAH!

I was totally keeping up with you with no issues with the beer. I myself do not know the number we were up to though. That should be a good thing.

I TOTALLY forgot about Slalomtology. Thank you for bringing that back into my life. Facebook religion status will be changed.

You really really really confused me when you weren't on that couch anymore when I woke up. I literally stood up and walked around the room at least twice and did not find you. Then I lost my phone in Zen's phone eating couch.

Nth mile was freaking HILARIOUS. I now am the proud owner of the Menu Screen music.
