For my 21st birthday, my mom got me tickets to go to Orlando and hang out with my sister (who lives here). My sister in turn got me tickets to Sealand's newest water park, Aquatica.

Now I was excited already about going to a water park since I haven't been to one in maybe 5+ years. But this park as possibly the best thing ever created: the Dolphin Water slide.

This waterslide, while of course being amazingly fun on it's own, has a length of the slide that is made of clear plastic and RUNS THROUGH THE DOLPHIN TANK. I went on this slide it it was by far one of the coolest things at the park.



Also, the lazy river ride goes under a bridge which has a window where you can see into the dolphin tank. It is seriously awesome. The dolphins (though they look like little killer whales) are called Commerson's dolphins, and are seriously fucking adorable.

There are other awesome rides at the theme park like the raging river, which is like a lazy river only 98374 times faster. It is unbelievably hard to try walking against the current, and they give you floaty vests instead of inner tubes.

But the point is, Dolphin Plunge water slide = awesome.
