About Me

Old-school gamer. I started gaming with the Atari 2600. I became an addict with the arcade release of Street Fighter II at my college. The SNES release pushed me into buying that system and a lame arcade stick. I haven't looked back since then. I still consider the 16-bit to be the Golden Age of gaming. The current generation is keeping me pretty happy, especially with the fighting game renaissance that's happening lately. And, yes, I'm old.

KoF XII 1.02 is now available. Early feedback suggests that the online is now better than SFIV and maybe on par with BlazBlue. I've read multiple posts on Ignition's forums stating that in a room with 3 red connections, the game is running very smooth. Yellow connections are better than before and blue connections are like playing local. Let's do this, guys. I'll definitely have a room going on Saturday night and maybe on Sunday as well. So far, I've only played Kirbilot and Tewdee. It's time to get this party started, Dtoiders! Update: I just played in a room with 4 other players, all yellow connections and it was beautiful. Seriously, on par with BB. KoF XII just won 2009.
