Shit, I still need to get my five in. This week has been so stressful since I find out if I'm leaving the country for a semester or not. I haven't played much of anything. I predict our matches to be a bloodbath in your favor unless I manage some of that sweet sudden returnee skill.

Me and my friend were messing around with his connections yesterday and the only way we were able to get a decent match out of KoF was if the connection was 100% perfect; even a slight drop in quality was enough to make the game lag like crazy. We played Blazblue online and specifically sought out the crappiest connections to -try- to lag the connection up, and we couldn't. Thus, I'm pretty sure it's not a problem with his machine or his connections, but just poor netcode mucking things up. Which sucks becuase the game is really awesome otherwise.

I'll see you online tonight, but if there's bad lag again I don't think it will be worth the time to even finish the contest. When the game has so much input lag that you can't combo something super-simple like Terry's 2HP -> LP Burn Knuckle, there's a problem, especially where poking and footsie is so important in this game and the timing on combos is so strict. And if I can't put forth my best effort, it's ultimately unfair to you and to me.

Here's hoping we can get a stable connection.

@Gen Eric Gui: It's so odd that I was not experiencing lag like you were. I hope the connection is better because I'd like everyone still in to finish their matches, but I understand all too well the frustration of laggy matches.

The first time we put the game in it updated it, but I'll be sure to check it again today.
