Old-school gamer. I started gaming with the Atari 2600. I became an addict with the arcade release of Street Fighter II at my college. The SNES release pushed me into buying that system and a lame arcade stick. I haven't looked back since then. I still consider the 16-bit to be the Golden Age of gaming. The current generation is keeping me pretty happy, especially with the fighting game renaissance that's happening lately. And, yes, I'm old.

SquareEnix is bringing the DS Dragon Quest remakes to the US. I am all about SE creating unique games such as The World Ends With You and Sigma Harmonics, but I am a whore for DQ. I love it more than FF. I've played I, II and III and own VII but have never had the chance to play IV, V or VI. Thanks, SquareEnix. I will give you more of my money now; and this time I'll buy the games at full price rather than waiting for a sale or price drop.

The only DQ I have left to play is 6. For what it's worth, I thought DQ5 was pretty fun, but I didn't like having to grind to get a Final Key in the middle of the game. Just my own little pet peeve.

I just want a DQ9. :)

Well even if it doesn't come out in europe at least we will be able to import an english language version. Damn I want this.

VI is really good, as it introduces the job system that was used in VII, except the game doesn't take 200 hours like VII did (I did everything in that game).

I'll keep saying this, but I'm so glad Squenix is bringing all of them over here and not just the one that came out in the US beforehand.

Maybe they haven't completely abandoned DQ here in the US
