Old-school gamer. I started gaming with the Atari 2600. I became an addict with the arcade release of Street Fighter II at my college. The SNES release pushed me into buying that system and a lame arcade stick. I haven't looked back since then. I still consider the 16-bit to be the Golden Age of gaming. The current generation is keeping me pretty happy, especially with the fighting game renaissance that's happening lately. And, yes, I'm old.

According to Hudson's Virtual Console page, July will be an exciting month for Virtual Console fans.

I spent many hours of my childhood playing Chase HQ, but I've never played the TG-16 version. I wonder if it's held up. Being the shmup whore that I am, I cannot wait for Star Parodier. The Parodier games are awesome and I expect this one will be as well.

Now, if we could only have Earthbound...

I loved the arcade version of Chase HQ... but the NES one blew. I hope the TbGfx one is a better port.

They're also apparently going to make a sequel to "Adventure Island" which should be awesome. All hail Master Higgins!
