Old-school gamer. I started gaming with the Atari 2600. I became an addict with the arcade release of Street Fighter II at my college. The SNES release pushed me into buying that system and a lame arcade stick. I haven't looked back since then. I still consider the 16-bit to be the Golden Age of gaming. The current generation is keeping me pretty happy, especially with the fighting game renaissance that's happening lately. And, yes, I'm old.

There are some serious matches going down today. Lots ofbig names are already eliminated but Wong and Daigo are still in it so I'm hoping to see a showdown between the two of them. That would rock. Ed Ma is also still in the contest and I'd love to see him win. I'll do some twittering about day three since internet access costs money at the hotel and it's wired only. It's amazing that looking on eBay the artbook is seeling for at least $50. One of the few times I actually regret not preordering with Gamestop. Just hated they required online purchase only to get it.

Also, hope you're having fun up there. Been a minute since we last chatted.

I think the fact Otakon was this same weekend has screwed with most of my EVO thought. Though I did hear small tidbits as I lurked around SFIV during the con. so meh I guess.

and seriously...hotels need to start having free wifi.
