About Me

Well apart from all the usual dull stuff that most 24 year old scottish guys do I'm going to be starting uni in sepetember, I'm going to abertay in dundee to study computer game technology. I just really hope it will be more useful than my physics degree.

Oh and I'm a bit of a liberal socialist nutjob which means I find more things offensive than Christians do but I can turn the other cheek... most of the time. If you ever see me calling anyone a neo-fascist bastard I'm probably just having a bad day.

So today I get an email telling me Tesco are launching "a brand-new digital site" so far so meh but wait they say there will also be "Great games that are free to play". http://www.tescodigital.com/Store/Default.aspx So yeah it is just a bunch of mostly shoddy flash games but the fact is Tesco is the UKs most recognised brand, their influence is massive and they are coming out and saying that hey these game thingys ain't so bad. So this is more evidence, if any more was actually needed, that almost everyone plays games now. Yes casual games but oooh it's a slippery slope from Eastenders Ghost of Walford. Oh and they have chuckie egg, damn that game is awesome.
