To begin, my aspirations have been in two things so far in life. First, technology has always been my calling. Whether Macintosh, Microsoft, or motherboards, I have taken an interest in learning the “next big thing” and staying up to date with what is new. This is also apparent in my video background, winning numerous awards for the work that I've done. My second passion would be storytelling. I have always wanted to show people new worlds, new experiences. I started writing, but I soon realized that I could never be as good as some of my colleagues who have also considered that their forte. I have also done interactive media, learning some programming skills. Programming has never really clicked with me yet and even though I’m in AP Calculus, math has always been my weak point in school. I need a school that will actually push me for the first time, and one that I will want to push myself for. I think I found just the place I am looking for at a school in Redmond Washington. I am planning on attending Digipen Institute of Technology. There I plan on getting a Bachelor of Science in Real Time Interactive Simulation degree and work in the computer and/or video game industry as an intermediate-level programmer in either graphics, artificial intelligence, networking, or general programming, perhaps even doing some design work as time goes on.
