So I woke up early today, I wanted to play the new GTA4 expansion pack. Which is actually really good. However Rockstar made a dick fucking move. For the last two LC stories (Niko and LaTD) the missions all auot-saved when you were done with them. So I spent about 3 hours playing and went to go take a nap for about an hour. I come back, and guess what, I HAVE TO DO IT ALL FUCKING OVER AGAIN BECAUSE ROCKSTAR DID NOT PUT AUTOSAVE ON BY DEFAULT THIS TIME



WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK! WHY WHY WHY WHY DID YOU DO THIS WHY DID YOU TURN AUTO SAVE OFF WHY WHAT WAS THE FUCKING POINT ARRRRRRRRRGH.

I bought a PS2 about 5-6 months ago. I spent over $250 buying games ect. for it. I'm just not finding my self playing it as much as I'd really like to though. I'm trying to save up a little cash and thought I would try and sell it at a loss. I wanted to post it here before trying on Ebay or anywhere else.

All of it is in almost brand new condition. I take VERY good care of games cames ect.

Erepublik is a browser based game that is meant to emulate real life and/or war. What happens in this game is decided almost entirely by the player base and doesn't change on a week to week basis. The game it self is incredibly simple on a day to day basis, but incredibly complicated if you want to really start getting into it.

Essentially, all there is to do in the beginning is eat, work, and train with the military. Three things you'll be doing on a daily basis, and as you do you will unlock more and more features such as the ability to fight in battles for your country, write a news paper for people to enjoy, join political party's and what have you. (One particularly funny political party is "United Loli's of Japan" should you choose to make your home there as I know many of the otaku on Dtoid just might do.

Since I've written a guide on Kol (Kingdom of Loathing ) which can be found in my past blogs. I figured I would write up a quick start guide on this as well, as all of your options may seem overwhelming at first.

If you want to follow along with reading this, the game can be found HERE. I'm going to help walk your threw your first day, if you have any other questions in game about how to play beyond my walk threw, simply PM me in game and I'll be glad to help.

First Step: When selecting where you live (like in the normal sign up process) select where you want to live in the game NOT your actual location. I say this because, in USA particularly most states are now Indonesian terrotories. It's the first mistake I made in the game and the one I regret the most.

Second Step: Find a job


Click on the market place tab and then on "Job Market".



From there, click the small square on the left hand side of the site and click on your desired field. (Manufacturing if you just want to work, you may want to try your hand at the other two if you feel you want to create a business, corporation, or organization later on. ). Be sure to try all the fields and all of the quality levels to see where each industry stands in your country. A particular industry may not be very profitable to you later on in country your in.


From there you simply need to select your skill level (it'll be at 0 stars when you start off) and click "apply". Congratulations you now work for a company , no waiting for call backs and going to incredibly awkward interviews where you may as well be dressed in a dunce cap and awaiting death here.



This parts pretty simple. Click the button once, and you've worked. No grinding, no mining in tunnels for x amount of iron untill your fingers are sore and your wondering why the fuck your wasting so many hours of your life clicking the same goddamn yew tree again...and again.. and again.. ARGGGGGGGGGGGH, where was I going with this? OH YA..


Time to join the army. Whether you want to fight in battles or not, training is necessary to get experience which will help you unlock more features down the road depending on how you want to live your life here.

Alternatively if you want a more through military expirence I'm sure you can contact whoever runs the army in whatever country you've chosen and they will be glad to yell insults at you while insulting the fact your mother ever gave birth to such a sorry piece of...

It has always been assumed the Red Team in TF2 are the good guys. They are favored by valve in the videos, marketing, and merchandise. Usually when a company chooses a team to favor it's always the good guys. Red must be good right? I don't think so, and I'm going to tell you why by comparing the habits and details of two fairly similar yet quite different teams.

Logos

Red


A bomb. This may be the biggest give away of all that Red Team are in fact, the bad guys. Above is the Red Teams official logo it's full logo. However if you do a google search for the Logo, even though Red is a fictional team, they have somehow managed to conceal their full logo in favor of something slightly less sinister:


Reliable Excavation Demolition

A cover up to make you think they dig holes? I've never seen a hole digging process that involved rockets, bombs, mechanical weapons and giant machine guns.

Blu

This is also an alternate logo of which Blu team posses. They are the supposed Builders League United, but of course I don't really buy that either. A cover up perhaps so no one knows they have to fight the Red terrorists?

A wrench. Doesn't that just put your mind at ease? Already, just by analyzing the logos I would think Blu team either has much more common sense, or are the better set of people.

Assault Vs. Defense


Red is always Defense. They are always trying to stop the Blu team from accomplishing their goal, from doing what needs to be done. At the end of Dustbowl they even have a missile that Blu must stop, probably saving thousands of lives from a nuclear explosion. Blu comes across as the obvious hero here. Going above and beyond to defend us from the evil Red Team.

Push Maps

On push maps, Blu must push a bomb to the end of s set map, blowing up part of red base, and, upon victory, them selves. What no one seems to noticed is that in this case, Red Team is now allowing Blu team to create a giant hole in the g round. This goes against their motto, and their job description. If they were truly excavationists, shouldn't Red HELP blue dig? Instead, Red team decided to try to slaughter Blu team for doing nothing more them making a crater. Sure it's a bit suicidal and elaborate, but essential Red are in fact, only blowing their cover.

Final Point
Mass Sentry Building

Building lots of sentry that will only not shoot at you if your wearing something red, and building them in great quantity. This is terrifying and I fear for our children who learn to build sentry's every day, because everyone knows only children play video games and can learn how to do things from them. As such I expect many children to go to school and build terrible sentry's because you can learn how to from this game. This makes Red and evil, evil company.

Radical released a new video of Prototype yesterday on their site named "Mission 7 Walk Through". This shows you a bit more of the game. Not much we haven't already seen but it's some new footage none the less.
