Hey guys and gals,
I'm college student out of New Jersey and an avid gamer ever since I could breathe (sorta). I own a NES, two PS2s, Gamecube, Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii, GBA, GBA SP, DS Lite, a PC, and a Macbook; and I game on them all. Without a doubt my favorite genre is RPGs, I will live and die by them. I wanna say my first RPG that really hooked me was Final Fantasy VII, and I've been addicted ever since.
I'm going to school right now trying to obtain my bachelors degree Software Engineering, and ultimately I'd love to enter into the gaming industry.
That's all I can really think to say right now. Game on!

Thank you for the suggestions so far.
Great single player and a decent multiplayer mode
As mentioned before Uncharted!
If you are into baseball, MLB The Show '09!!!
Even M$ Execs say It is the best Baseball game on the market.
If you are planning to get LittleBigPlanet, wait!
GOTYE is coming out sooooon.
I'm just saying it's better suited for the forums, which are intended for discussion. It doesn't offend me, I was just giving advice. I got ripped on once for posting this sort of thing on the CBlogs before.

It probably could be a forum post, I'm sorry if this tiny little blog offends you so much that you must make note of that or else you might cease to breathe. However, I'm not a forum user and it was easiest for me to just quickly pop into the c-blogs and ask my question.
What an asshole response to a suggestion. Good luck with your aids.
But don't just limit yourself to the disc-based titles! The PSN store has a ton of fun games, like Marvel vs. Capcom 2 ($15), Bionic Commando Rearmed ($15), Final Fantasy VII ($10), and Fat Princess ($15). And Noby Noby Boy if you like really weird shit (and it is $5, so you don't feel ripped off if you don't like it). You've got a lot of good suggestions from the community, so you should be square.
2) Burnout Paradise completely turned me off on the demo because of the free roam.
3) I hate baseball, lol. But thanks for the suggestion.
I'm definitely waiting for LBP GOTY
Also you should let us know what games you have for your Xbox360 so we don't recommend 3rd party games you already have.
Uncharted
Little Big Planet
Blazblue
MGS4
Flower
Echochrome
Pixel Junk Monsters & Eden
aaaannnnnd that's all that come to mind atm, but def a lot more.
PSN: Kyvon08
Again, thank you for all the suggestions I have gotten a lot of good ideas now.
It's okay. I'm not an irritable person, myself. I think you offended Blehman and de BLOO more than me with that comment.
these guys pretty much told you what I wanted to.
Resistance 1 can often be found for cheap and is a great game! Better campaign, splitscreen campaign co-op and kick ass multiplayer.
Warhawk probably has the best multiplayer and is still going strong after 2 years... it has 4 player online splitscreen - so up to 4 can play in an online multiplayer game. The controls are easy to learn, but it's a game that's hard to master - the skill levels in this game are amazing when you see good air or ground people. If you like this game, it will suck your life away.
See what I don't understand is that I made a comment towards ONE person, Arkhon. I also apologized to Arkhon and seems like everything is okay between us.
But I'm getting called names by people who weren't even involved in the altercation... but apparently I'm the one who is wrong.
Nobody else seemed to care about the length of my blog so I really don't see the problem. I really think people should just mind their own damn business unless they have something to contribute to the topic at hand. It's not that hard, if you don't want to add to the conversation, then just click the back button and forget you ever read what you did.
On a lighter note, thanks again to everyone who gave me suggestions. Can't wait to start playing some PS3.
Fightans: BlazBlue
Multiplayer: Bomberman Ultra, Rag Doll Kung Fu
Also, consider downloading lots of demos from PSN. Hopefully, that can help you make lots of wise choices.
Valkyria Chronicles
Mirror's Edge
Also I'd advise playing the demo of Uncharted first. I was all gung-ho for the game until I played the demo. Killed all interest in the game. The combat is incredibly clunky and not fun.
It's a community blog. Minding your own damn business isn't on the fucking menu. As for your "topic at hand"? You being too lazy to do research, or at least scroll back through some pages for the last time someone did a "What game should I get for X system" post that comes up at least once a week, or, god forbid, going into the games recommendation thread in the forums, or the arcade, and asking? You mean that topic at hand? You should play Valkyria Chronicles, don't be a weiner.
Single player stuff includes Uncharted, Folklore, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma are all awesome.
The others that I would recommend have pretty much been covered so here a few more.
Disgaea 3 is a great SRPG. Warhawk is one of the better multiplayer games on the PS3. Fat Princess is really fun if you are playing it with people who have mics. Flower is one of the best PSN games out there. And BlazBlue is a rather good fighting game.
There are more games that I would recommend but all of them (that I can think of) have been said here already.
PSN: clockwork-zombie
Notice where I said that I don't use the forums so I don't care that you can name helpful forum topics, because I wouldn't venture there if I don't use them.
And, yes the topic at hand was me asking for some PS3 recommendations, I did not ask for your opinion on my comment to another person.
I really have no desire to argue with you, so please refrain from further comments in my blogs unless you want to discuss it without sticking your nose where it doesn't belong.
I'm sorry Jesus, I'll leave your holy than forums ass alone now.
Contrary to what some people may say, community blogs are NOT like forums. It is important to know the difference. If you don't, you're likely to receive the writer's equivalent of being "booed off stage." Destructoid may be a little different from other blogs you've used before because it is a ***SHARED*** community blog -- a singular weblog updated by thousands of people. A lot of people are reading Destructoid this instant. This is a very active community!
What / when should I post in the community blogs?
Community blogging (or c-blog for short) is appropriate when you have enough to say to *publish a complete article* that can stand on its own -- your blog post should be no shorter than a paragraph and pertain to a topic of interest to other gamers. You can also blog about other stuff, just TAG YOUR POST as "Non-video game related" (NVGR) and blog away. After you post a blog, it appears on the right side of our home page and in the main community blogs area, so you should receive a reaction to your editorial almost immediately. However, blogs comments are not the ideal place to have conversations because comments are typically meant for the entire community to weigh in on. Individual conversations are always best left for forums or via private messaging by clicking into a member's profile.
Before you jump into blogging you should begin by reading the Destructoid home page or Community page to get a sense of what game bloggers do, then check out our community rules. When you're ready to blog, just login to Destructoid and look for the "my blog" options at the top of the page. Whatever you write will be read, guaranteed. No pressure! (haha) You can publish anything you like, but remember that you are sharing this site with other gamers. You will have an engaged audience from day one. Since the blog is shared in a stream, its probably not a good idea to publish 10 articles at once. Get your post in, give others time to respond and post, then post some more. You can manage when your posts go live by managing your stories' privacy settings. Don't blow it -- make a good first impression! Don't fail/suck/etc! Already logged in? Try it out! Check out some additional c-bloggling tips on Brian's blog
When should I start a thread in forums instead?
Forums are meant to foster active conversations. Forum readers do not expect you to organize or present an opinion, facts, or even cohesive paragraphs per se. This is a place to talk. Have a brief question? Want to make a quick comment on a gaming topic to get a group discussion going? Forums are the best place to do this, because conversations are "threaded" -- you can engage various people individually instead of addressing everyone. Try our forums out!. (Note: Our forums and blogs are two different systems, you will need to register for both.)
There is a "New Member's Guide" for a fucking reason, learn to read. And don't come back with your "BUT I DUN USE FURUMS HAR HAR YOU SUCK" comment because if you that fucking lazy then just don't post at all, seriously there were some good blogs today and you ruined it with this tripe, see you in the fail blogs recap!
And please, put me in the fail blog section, I don't care. I hope it makes you happy to see it while you're sitting there holding your two inch cock and beating off to your anime. I go through enough stress in my everyday life, I don't need to be annoyed by a bunch of losers telling me my blog isn't adequate enough for their standards. Why people love to come, comment, and get me riled up, I'll never understand.
I already explained why I posted this here several times, so I'm not going to again. Before anyone else posts in the comments, please, change your tampon and remove the stick from your ass, then make your comment.
I'm just really sick and tired of everyone thinking that they rule the c-blogs and whoever doesn't do it "the right way" gets flamed repeatedly.
Please, get a fucking life. Thank you.
Dude, don't let this stuff get to you too much. Blehman is a really cool guy. I'm sad to see you all got off on the wrong foot, but I'm sure you guys can put this all behind you.
I don't see anything wrong with your blog personally, but I'm also a goofball here on Dtoid. Just come here and do what you want to do. Don't let the people get to you.

You said you're not a new user so you're not adhering to the new user guide. You realize that makes no fucking sense, right?
I mean, it WOULD BE excusable if this was your first post. You had it backwards.
I understand you don't want to have to log back in and check your post later and that you'd rather have instant results here in the blogs, but at least be a bit considerate of other bloggers. Some people do put time and care into their blogs, and it's a shame to have to see something like this push them down the list and off the front page.
