Just to start, yes I stole the image from the front page story, because it was easy, and I wanted an image.
May I just say... I AM SO EXCITED. Years I've waited for the next MMORPG from Square Enix, and the trailer makes me jizz in my pants.

From what it looks like, it's basically next-gen Final Fantasy XI, which is precisely what I wanted. Although I think this is a very wise decision, as it will likely entice most of its current FFXI community to make the transition to XIV... I would have like to see some variation in races; because it seems to contain the 5 same races. Maybe they will add some new races, I would hope with the 4 years they've had to work on this, there will be a lot of new content.

Well, the trailer looks so amazing and the more I watch it, and the more excited I get. First let me say the world looks BEAUTIFUL, the opening pan of the large river valley and mountains is breathtaking and I can't wait to experience that.
As we move onto the brief battle scene with the creepy little flying jellyfish-crab... things. WHAT is that spell!?, looks awesome. I would love to see some new jobs that we didn't see in FFXI be added to this new one, which I'm sure (hopefully) we will.
AND THEN.... LEVIATHAN ANYONE? This trailer is so jam-packed that it's almost impossible to catch everything the first time. I can't wait to see what the main plot is... a land embraced by gods.... hmmm. :)
I love the face that they're keeping the same visual style (it seems) as Final Fantasy XI, the boats, the airship fighter.. jawns that they show look sick as well.
Could you imagine if they really incorporate PVP as a main feature into the game, maybe some larger scale battles... ARMORED CHOCOBOS FINALLY!? MAYBE!?
I couldn't be more excited right now and I hope that it lives up to my expectations.

FF 14? No way. He must mean versus. FF 14... No way that's possibl... *Watches trailer* Ohh my...
It would have been better (I don't know if that's the word) if he first announced it as a sequel to FF XI online. Maybe it has potential to be a great online game since it's an exclusive, unless it's actually timed and SquareEnix will whore the game out to every console known to man.
I'm not sure exactly but I think the PS3 is a little bit more powerful than the 360. That being said, if the PS3 is the baseline requirement.. then the game will have over all better quality.
However, also, Microsoft has a bajillion monies and they already have FFXIII and now MGS... I'm sure it'd be possible for them to snag it for 360... buttttttt idk. I doubt it's coming to the 360.
