I'd say off the top of my head, you heead to work on your traditional art skills. There is a very noticable disparagy between what is phototweaked in the image and what is custom. A lot of what I saw on your blog has that same issue to. Not saying you suck, just saying you need work.
thanks for the feedback :) the only bit of photo in the image above is the rock at the front. To be honest, i dont really try to hide the fact im using photos and drawings. I kinda abuse the fact that its a merge of mediums and leave it open for the viewer to see. Im more about trying to make something quirky, rather than photorealistic. Although, I completely agree that I need to improve my traditional art skills and if you look back through my blog you'll see I have been working on it ;)
I really like that piece! (though it should be noted that I know nothing about art aside from a boring Art History course in first year University).... but I do know what I like. :)
