I have never been directly involved with the creation or publication of any videogame. However, I have backed the following gaming-related Kickstarter campaigns:
Double Fine Adventure Dragged Away: A Night to Remember Gaymer X Spaceteam Admiral's Club Relaunch 'Sup, Holmes? Season 3 Thimbleweed Park Wasteland 2
I currently patronize one gaming-related Patreon:
And I previously supported another:
Phil and Spencer
I also follow (and am followed by) some indie game developers on Twitter, and am friends with a few on Facebook.
I am a videogame fan first and foremost, and as such I've been known to sing the praises of the games and developers I like from time to time. That said, I will always endeavor to disclose any relationship (however insignificant) I may have with the people involved with the creation of said game in the event that I write about them. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask!
Now, I had been warned that she would be sending me... something, but I had absolutely no idea it would be this fucking awesome:
Yes, those are hand-crafted, miniature replicas of Gordon Freeman's iconic crowbar (rattle) and headcrab from the Half-Life universe!

That's right; baby sized!
(Sorry, but this is the closest to the HEV suit I could come up with.)

Immediately (*cough* three weeks *cough*) after this, we dug a bit further into the box and found probably the greatest gift of all:
A baby-sized replica of my own pink robe!
Like father, like daughter?
I'd say so!
COM 01, I've thanked you several times already, but I can't say it enough: this is one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me. You are truly a talented, kind soul, and Corduroy Turtle absolutely does not deserve you!
Thanks so much!
