I barely see it. Don't look for the face of the pictures. They don't really come up. Instead look for the chest. Might be my eyes playings tricks on me though since its 3:20 in the morning. But as I said, don't look for faces but look for the chests of the pictures. But I do see the 5 on the chest. So yaaaaaaaaa

The tags are just for show, and google rank hits; that's very obvious to anyone who's ever made a website. What's really funny is on n4g, 360 fans are saying "OMG THERES A 360 CONTROLLER IN THE CLOUDS!"

Can't be another iPhone game. The only formats MGS haven't been on are 360 and DS. Besides, Konami bank so much on MGS, when they should really be givng us other stuff.

As much as people want to believe it has got to do something with Blade of Kumori, it's just the Japanese word for 'Cloudy'.

This is Solid Snake in both pictures okay.

There is "APRIL * 2007" (the character between April and 2007 is illegible) and a stenciled looking "GB" in part of the overlaying image that makes the border. It's pretty much impossible to see unless you have a flash decompiler.

Honestly though, there isn't any indication this is a Metal Gear game aside from the meta tags on the page, and if they were going to go through all the trouble of making a flash file and hiding images in it (I think what you're seeing as snake it's just a blurry spot, to be honest), I doubt they'd fuck it up by putting shit in the meta tags.

There are, however, other weather icons for the loading screen. The normal one now seems to be just a cloud, but there's also one for a thunderstorm, rain, what looks like snow, sun and a !. In April 07[/url, a [url=http://science.howstuffworks.com/question595.htm]nor'easter (also check wikipedia for details) hit the US. the grass, trees and fence look like any number of fields around here in Wisconsin (which is really only the eastern US by being in the eastern half, but whatever, it doesn't suddenly become Mars on the other side of the Great Lakes).

i'm gonna have to agree with Trev on this. Seems too "quiet" for it to be some MG related stuff. It would seem pretty stupid to have it be so obvious in the code. (maybe they added in the code to throw people off?)

STILL. It's not ZOE and right about now i'm kinda ignoring anything Konami till I hear word of a ZOE.

Hmm, as much as I love MGS, I'm happy leaving it as is. 4 just ended everything so perfectly, that I feel even it it was a prequel or sidestory, another game would just serve to devalue it. Then again, I'll follow Kojima anywhere, and if he thinks 5 is a good idea, I'll gladly agree :)
