9/9/09 will begin at the stroke of midnight.
Sega is announcing a new and exciting Sonic game. "Old-school Sonic fans have long asked to see Sonic return to a more 2D style of gameplay" says Sega of America's Ken Balough. The game will be released in 2010 in his 2d roots retroworld. So I leave you the Sonic teaser and my Green Dreamcast. More like a party post for Dreamcast day at the last minute. I bought this dreamcast for 6 bucks with 1 controller and no games a few months ago. I know where to get my Dreamcast games.

P.S. Destructoid.com staff members use these pictures, if you like to. I was going to spraypaint a Mr.Destructoid face on the dreamcast, but I didn't have time, so here is a sort of bad mock up below.

Its some gloss spraypaint found at Home depot for 3 or 4 bucks a can.

Perhaps making the buttons red could work? (if possible, find a way they are transparent so when you turn it on, they are like glowing red eyes). The controller dock looks like Mr. Dtoid's mouth.

Just got linked here from "This week in the community," and oww, that Dreamcast is HAWT!!! I'm tempted to paint my old PS1 now...not like I have anything to lose! Any tips for making sure the buttons still work smoothly? Or is the paint thin/smooth enough that it's not a big deal?

Note: I'm not going to make a Dtoid one, wouldn't want to rip you off or anything haha. I want to paint mine light blue or something.
