I thought since some people here seem to be at least somewhat interested in indie games, then they might be interested in this
pretty huge list of indie game developers that I decided to compile quite sometime ago. It only just dawned on me to post it here.
It pretty much concentrates on the little guys - the guys that create the little freeware gems and don't receive much attention in return, although there are some critically acclaimed developers thrown in there and some have become a good deal bigger than what they were since the list began.
I constantly plan to update it (I never will consider it complete), although admittedly it hasn't had a major update in quite sometime (it has had a recent broken link clean up though). There are also some interview links below certain developers to give some background for those interested.
So that's that. Hopefully someone might get something out of it.
The Big List: Independent Game Developers
Go to tigsource and pixelprospector.
@Elsa: thanks.
@trunxkam45: I've written for TIGSource and had interviews published there in the past and have been a member of their forums for years and I'm friends with the owner of Pixel Prospector, so I'm well aware of those communities. Thanks anyways though. I might add Ikiki at some point.
@Wry Guy: thanks also.
