You can talk about non-video game related things but expect to be flamed to high heaven and not get anything constructive out of it unless your posts are amazingly illuminating.
So I would say no, use http://www.vox.com/ if you're looking for a real blog...or one of the other million blogging sites out there.
I don't mind reading about people's personal lives, as long as they are somehow insightful or interesting. Did you go to a Doors concert, dig up Jim Morrison's dead body, and then skullfuck it until you were arrested by Federalis? Then hell yes, I want to hear about it.
But if you're going to tell me that your laundry is dirty or that Federalis have no business being in France guarding Jim Morrison's body, then I don't want to hear about it.
But yeah, vox works well and is easy to use.
Yes, you can post about other things as long as they aren't:
1.your personal life (which is relevant by the banning of whiteboy, who did nothing but gab about his pathetic life)
2. Anime (we have Japanator for that, and I don't know about anyone else but it pisses me off when people post anime related shit here)
What Orcist said. Personal stuff is just dandy to me as long as it's something interesting. And don't go on and on about how you're cheating on your wife and it's OK while also randomly praising random "hot" c-bloggers for having breasts. Seriously. It's creepy.
hah you guys are tops.
The funny thing is, I never read Whiteboy's notorious blog until now, and I regret doing so. I think my IQ dropped a few points.
Thanks ALOT Bluemeep.
Don't worry! Nobody really needs that many brain cells. I never use algebra anyway.
