Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog. Odds are the majority of what I write won't be that interesting, but I'll try to talk about stuff that isn't completely boring as much as possible.

My username is monkeyspoon5, though the cast of RFGO have taken to calling me monkeyspoon. I live in Ontario, Canada, and will soon be going to my local university for a degree in honours mathematics. I've been gaming since I was probably 2 years old, as we've had a NES in the household since before I was born. I was born into the 16-bit era and so I have fond memories of when I was four years old playing Sonic 3 and watching my siblings play games.

When the PS1, Saturn and N64 came out, my brother opted for the N64 and from then on until now I've basically been a Nintendo fanboy, though I really dislike the current direction they're trying to push the market in. I'm also not a big fan of FPS games as I have horrible aim and bad reflexes.

Some of my favourite series are Metal Gear, Ace Attorney, Zelda, 2D Metroid (screw the prime trilogy), the main Mario series and Pokemon. The games I'm currently playing are FF IV, V, VI, IX, and Chrono Trigger as I didn't have an SNES and I was rather young when the games came out.

Now, what you should expect of this blog are articles on my current observations in games, frustrations, and none of the stupid things I posted on this blog a few months ago where I called God out because he was telling me to start a blog.
