Howard Scott Warshaw - The story of a programmer in the golden age of gaming

My fellow Destructoidians...

I'm sure many of you have heard this story before, but how many of you have seen it in the form of a comic strip? Painstakingly drawn entirely with the game "Surround" on the Atari 2600 (in the "free draw" level), my buddy Todd from Young American Comics just created this fantastic piece of work that I thought you'd like to see:

I don't know about you guys, but I plan on printing this bad boy out and tacking it up on my wall in the immediate future.

Pure genious.... that's what the work printers are for, right?

dgenerate, absolutely.

Nex, fortunately, I just moved out of Burbank and into West Hollywood for that EXACT reason. I just couldn't let that happen because I've been planning on impregnating you for ages and simply cannot risk becoming sterile.

Howard Scott Warshaw is the man. I didn't read the comic but I know that he made Yar's Revenge. And then he had to make E.T. He made it in 3 weeks. I love him for that reason.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
