1. i don't have a southern accent (OH THE SPOILERS!)

2. the san diego drought is caused by me and taking way too many damn showers.

3. i almost got a scholarship for playing softball, but then quit to be on the surf team, and won many swimming races when i was in highschool.

4. i'm going to school for video game programming and design.

5. i first got into the art of anime when i was very young, started to draw it and it is my first love now, aside from reading books. although i refused to go to school for it, which angers my entire family.


6. i used to fr00tb00t when i was 10 with my brother, and it led me to skateboarding, where i then competed in amateur skate contests in the girls division and won two of them.


7. when im alone i blast music, sing and dance like a complete retard. i used to listen to punk, which evolved into hardcore music (screamo if you will), and now listen to almost everything. and the dancing is usually because of the techno and trance getting into my bloodstream.


8. despite how perverted and obscene you all know me to be, i am actually quite the sap and love hopeless romanticism.


9. i have dyed my hair an unlimited amount of times and am now growing out my original hair color. ;o

10. i love this website and what it has done for me in my life, for once i was lost and now am found. i came to destructoid via the stickam room, yay m&m's, i was sifting through the rooms like the regular randoms that go in bored, looking for amusement. when i came in everyone was actually talking to eachother instead of staring blankly into space and was quite enjoying the banter, i believe they were talking about movies when i came in. everyone was very welcoming except for puppet, who constantly asked me if i needed a hot dickens for maybe a week straight. i thought he was hilarious and decided to stick through the flaming because i really had nothing better to do, started to go on destructoid and then went to pax to meet most of the crew. i had so much fun that first time i went to pax, which has led me to meet even more people throughout the dtoid community. i have found that i enjoy everyones company that comes on here, even the annoying ones like puppet ;D and am still meeting amazing new people everyday because of it.

nintendoll's post from earlier today spiked my curiosity, and so, i give you this, my findings, i saw a lot of awesome cases. made out of plastic dummies and made translucent to show all the wiring and cool colors n shtuffz. a halflife case, well, quite a couple, a few doom ones, and GORGEOUS, if i may say so, but i don't want to flood this post with pictures, so i will post the silliest ones i have found, in my pillaging of the innernetz today.

i finally had my chance to go through XBLA, and test out games that were to my liking. i honestly enjoyed a lot of the games that were on there, even the ridiculously stupid ones that are pretty much just slow remakes of past games. i'm not saying i'm very great at them, i'm probably really horrible, but they were FUN!

i'm a stickler for puzzle games, anyone on my friends list can tell you that. my favorites for the longest time on xbla was puzzle quest and puzzle fighters... but people got tired of playing me in those so i guess i fell out of that phase. apart from the puzzle games i tend to enjoy mostly first person shooters.

here are a few of my favorites,

1. mr. driller

the idea is very simple, but definitely has a technique to it, very fun and the artwork is too friggin cute, making this awesomely appealing from the start. making you want to play more and more despite how frustrating it can get when you get smooshed ;(

2. astro-pop

as if the fact that you're a pilot in a spaceship isn't awesome enough, you match up 4+ color stones to eliminate them across the board. with certain tiles you can use to eliminate a whole row or some that just blow up blocks surrounding it. very fun and addictive and very fast paced which is good for someone with ADD.

3. bomberman

what more is there to say? everyone loves playing bomberman to begin with, but then they add a destructoid suit and let you play with all your robot friends across the globe. now playing: suff0cat, tazar, the very beautiful fooliz, and i.
