Care of yours truely HOW NOT to Play 3rd strike. A few mentions of my opinions of that infamous parry video not withstanding. Here's my disgraceful 3rd strike playing.

Ok I turned an incredibly technical fighter into a game of Who can pull off the most super arts and win.

If I got to Gill...I'd still be Filming and Uploading videos. Anybody else use System Direction?

I'd comment, but I'm trying to avoid videos of 3rd strike right now. The game looks so much better than SFIV, that if I want to enjoy SFIV at all, I have to forget that SFIII even exists.

I've never seen a single "How to Play Street Fighter III" video.

I'm still amazed by some of the tiny details on the sprites in SFIII, like when their belts bob up and down in rhythm and pieces of cloth flutter in the wind. So cool.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is less than enthused by SFIV so far. I really want to be, but it's just not happening right now. Maybe that will all go away when I actually have the game in my hands.

I'm with you 100%. I'm not sure if I'm even going to but it (well, for myself, not just the winner of the contest). But, the Collector's Edition does look mighty tasty.

for the none that are wondering I made these videos just before the Tekken video I posted yesterday.

SF IV is going to be great I can't stop watching Videos of it myself

I dabbled around with System Direction. It's fun at times but it becomes way too boring with all supers on.

I'm personally not watching SFIV vids...just cause i'm lazy and don't want to kill my hype completely.

Has anyone here even played SFIV? I'll admit I wasn't too excited about it. But after playing it, it really is a good game.

I play at an arcade that has SFIV, Tekken 6, Blazblu, Arcana Heart, and older favorites like Third Strike, MvC2, etc. And my favorite is still SFIV.

Give SFIV a chance; I'm pretty sure it'll grow on you.

You know I had to comment on this. This is probably my favorite street fighter, the soundtrack was just great. I'm trying to become a more technical fighter in it but I just end up button mashing. They gimped Sean though :(.

I know. Its just that people dump on SFIV for seemingly no reason.

C'mon people, SFIV has Dan! Dan, running around, doing crazy poses, and giving you a thumbs up and a sparkling smile after he pummels you with his ultra. What's not to like?

Yeah a Numbered non Spin off Street Fighter with Dan! how is that not awssome?

I remember in EGM's Initial SF III coverage they said that Sean was the most well rounded if you gave him the Hadoburst.
