I find it funny I talk about cosplay and then mention a Porn Star is an RPG fan....and nobody mentions the porn star.

That said I feel the last blog was very unclear.

I've seen Chrono Trigger Cosplayers, Persona 3 (1 persona 3 but still), Tons of FF VII, VIII and X. (I've yet to see a LuLu that didn't excite me a little)

As I've said I've never seen IX, I've yet to see anyone from VI. Never saw a Xenogears cosplayer either.

I wouldn't recnognize Grandia, Suikoden (but with 100s of characters that's understandable)
Wild Arms and so on.

So the biggest always get the cosplay.

Is Final Fantasy VII and VIII necessarily the best the cream of the crop? How about X?

A good RPG or even a decent one is something I'll play awhile. I ended up hating Wild Arms 5 but I did play it awhile until some game play elements and the battles every 10 steps got on my nerves.

So

Final Fantasy VII- Gameplay wise even with Materia it's a step down from VI. Everyone Loves the cast. They're weeaboo wet dreams. But, plot elements were done BEFORE in other RPGs. coughphantasystarIIcough The music does stand out. Although as much as I like the Battle theme. I like VI and IX's battle themes more. Barret's lines are pretty funny just because I never expected it. Keep in mind I played this 11 years later. Not when it was fresh.

Final Fantasy VIII- I can't comment on it as I played it when the demo was out and that was it and my time was limited due to my cousin wanting his PS1 back.

Final Fantasy X- Eh......I don't see it. Game lost me at the voice acting "123 TEACH US HOW TO BLITZ" After seeing That I'm all like "Fuck this I'm not putting up with 20 hours of that shit" X-2 being DOA the RPG before that prospect even came up doesn't help matters either.

Not too crazy about IV and V just becuase the premise and story don't appeal to me.

I'm up to where Sabin shows up in VI and I just Can't win that battle so VI has been on indefinite hold.

OH Lost Oddessy I need to get that back from the Kid that borrowed it. I wanna play it more. THAT is a GREAT RPG. But I can't see many cosplayers. and Instinctively if I saw anybody cosplay as Cooke I would just smack them. I HATE COOKE. Sarah is cute. Kaim...

What I actually don't like is non turnbased RPGs. Not crazy about Tales of Symphonia (another game that invites cosplay but I've yet to at any con I attend see any) Tales of Chopin (AKA Eternal Sonata) and Star Ocean til the end of time.....not favorites.

I LOVE probably due to contemporary settings Shin Megami Tensei games and I hear nothing but YOU GOTTA GET THESE about Shadow hearts and that Suikoden II is worth selling my soul to obtain.

Also, if anybody hates Chrono Trigger....please stop playing video games. How CAN YOU hate that game?

One series I DO NOT LIKE however in that vien is Dragon Quest. remember when nintendo was just kinda handing the game out? Yeah......The Slime may be an Icon.......But I find these games quite boring.

How about Western RPGS?

Morrowind was too much for me and I suspect as gorgous as the game is that Oblivion would also be a bit much.

But I dunno, good CONSOLE western RPGs?

Should I get some MS points and check Fable out before plunging into Fable 2?
