Probably a concidence as Q is a rip off from some Manga but there is a a resemblence sort of

Gill/Urien and Ozymandias

They both have the Egyptian thing going. Parells with Alexander the Great and both are willing to attain peace through some pretty nefarious means. If you aren't thinking Gill Maybe Urien is a bit closer

Dr Manhatten and Seth

I don't know about their personalties but their make up and fighting styles sure seem simular. OXM were actually the ones who noticed this. The other two were my own observance.

Actually, Gill was taken from Agent Gin Rei's disguuse as seen in the first episode of the Giant Robo OAV.

If you like this sort of thing, check this site out. There's pages and pages of these sorts of Capcom comparison shots, some of which are more convincing than others (but they're all entertaining).

Yep, Jon's right. SF3's Q is a homage to Gin Rei's disguise in Giant Robo.

It possible it might be the other way around if not at all, since Giant Robo is originally from 1967, but I might be reaching too.
