Final Fantasy IX gets lost in the shuffle, the EMOfied VII and even more EMO VIII overshadow IX which is by and far what those other 2 should be. It's classic Final Fantasy only 3d. With graphics that even in this HD era still look great. Granted I'm not very far into the game But I'm also not too far into VI either and I was still floored.

I never see IX cosplays so it got me thinking. Why are RPG fans so rabid and why are some RPGS like Final Fantasy IX which is clearly superior in my opinion to VII and VIII
get so much attention.....and People like this:





RPGs require alot of time how many of us have dumped weeks or months of our lives into an RPG? We get emotionally attached to the characters. That's probably why we see so many people cosplay. But why nobody from IX? That last TIFA would do well to cosplay as the queen from IX XD. What is it about IX that makes it so Cosplay proof? Black Mages are cute.....but I only see a few and VIVI is so loveable I felt so bad for him when he was found to have a Fake ticket and that he was gonna cry. AWWWWW poor kid. So yeah Black Mages are cosplayable, and I want to see more VIVI's even if he is only 9. But it's not just Final Fantasy XI that gets shunned everything before VII and I Never once see a Fei or Elly from Xenogears, not even a Citian. Hey I'd make a pretty Bad ass Kefka....I won't do it but still. I'd make a pretty bad ass Kefka.......I can be that much of an asshole if I'm angry enough. I wouldn't make a bad Citian either. It seems like the only RPG cosplays I see are from Final Fantasies VII VIII and X/X-2. I did see a Chrono cosplayer once and "Main character" from Persona 3 but those are pretty rare. WHY just VII, VIII and X? What's so uncosplay about other RPGS?

I can't answer that. But I really think that alot of people even the rest of us who just play RPGs casually can't and a vast majority of us think of RPG nuts as girlfriendless loser Weeaboos....but you know who LOVES her RPGS?

are they really all Assholes with no lives and decide THAT will be their job because it's just easier to go to tournaments and fein skill to make a few grand than it is to go to school and get a REAL Job?
