see now, i had a falling out with the fool. i was trying to defend my stance on Bionic
Commando's art direction for the upcoming 360/ps3 game. not every one is a fan of what
they've dubbed the "hot dog" arm, and well, we're all entitled to our opinion, but i felt the
need to offer a different perspective on the topic.

i tried to explain to the majority of the people posting that Spencer's dreadlocks and bright
orange bionic arm had purpose and intent. naturally, they got offended and the whole
thread turned into a gamefaqs-esque flame attack concentrated towards me. i was going
fucking berserk, not necessarily going on the defense, but rather, trying to force an
alternative way of thinking concerning the subject at hand. no one wanted to hear my
rants, dubbed "elitist babble" and i was inevitably banned by bashcraft on the grounds of
"trying to make the thread in to a personal rant." not the case..

i'm very thankful for our right to blog, here on destructoid. no one has to read what i'm
saying, but if you are, thank you. i feel we're all entitled to freedom of expression, and
fuck, if i'm not allowed to respond to the myriad amount of shitheads running amok on
kotaku's sorry excuse for a gaming blog, this must be the only other place.

you guys probably don't want to hear why i think the Bionic Commando's character design
is near-flawless, so i won't get in to it. if you want to hear my reasons why, please ask or
something. maybe i'll dedicate a future post to the upcoming game or some shit. in any
case, cheers for no more ashcraft and his half-assed attempts at trying to be a legitimate
game journalist. i'm going to finish this beer and turn on a game.
