It all started this past October the 15th. That was the day I bought my PS3 60gb. The idea had been in the back of my mind even longer than that, of course, but October the 15th was the day the idea became a possibility. See with a fully backwards compatible PS3 I realized that all of those quality PS1 and PS2 RPG's I'd missed (I was a Sega and then Nintendo fan-boy for far too long!) could give me hours of gaming bliss at relatively small expense.
And so I started soliciting advice on the worthy titles and collecting them the very next day. So far I've managed to round up Xenosaga 1, Persona 3, Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2, Atelier Iris 2, Growlanser Generations, Shadow Hearts 1, Okami, Dark Cloud 2 and Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter. Although I still have many titles to go, I'm already very excited about this, my personal RPGQuest.
Currently I'm closing in on 30 hours played on Xenosaga 1 and (I think) nearing the end of the game. I've enjoyed my time with Xenosaga and will post a more thorough missive on my time with it once I actually finish. For now, I'm just going to buckle down and finish it and then tackle the more difficult job of deciding which game to play next!
