Just returned from the mall, and managed to get a couple of games for dirt cheap, as well as reserving my copy of Batman: Arkham Asylum for tomorrow. I simply cannot wait for that game, and the fact that I'll be getting it for <$40 makes it a great deal. Too bad for you Americans, us up here in Canada finally got a better deal on a video game.
Anyways, back to my true purpose of posting, my ever growing video game collection got larger with two PS2 games, one Xbox game and one PS2 game. All for the price of $16. Here is what I found:
Xbox: Dead Man's Hand - $3
PS2: The Operative: No One Lives Forever - $5
PS2: X Squad - $3
Gamecube: Geist - $5
The first 3 were all impulse buys, but I'm most happy with finding Geist for $5, especially when they had another copy at the store for $32. Even if these games turn out to be duds, it's still not much money, and I can probably re-sell them (not that I would) for more money. This brings my collection to 158 games.
Now onto Batman: Arkham Asylum. Having already gone through the demo many, many times, this game will probably end up being one of the top 3 games this year for me. I love the free formed combat as well as the stealth attributes to it. I will be picking it up tomorrow, and will be posting my first impressions later on in the day.
'Till then, Happy Gaming!
