This was an email I just received, I thought I would share with dtoid. There was a c-blog about a month ago about Resistance 2 beta sign ups, and by going to www.getawarjob.com you were able to sign up. This is the first I've heard back. I love me some viral marketing. I can't wait til they start releasing more info on this game.

I got this too..I thought it was funny and a waste because it didn't tell me I was getting my beta.

And about that beta: I asked Ted Price about it during a Resistance 2 demo at E3, and he said "What beta? We haven't announced a beta." To which I said, "Oh, well then. But, if you were to have a beta, when might that happen?" He smiled. Then I asked him, "But public betas are pretty cool right? Those are helpful?"

"Sure," he laughed, "we like betas."

I just enjoyed how it didn't say "BROUGHT TO YOU BY RESISTANCE 2 LOLZ" or anything at the bottom. I really thought it was spam when I first saw it, then I read who it was from, and I remembered signing up on that website. Good stuff.

With my PC, I just recently upgraded to a beast of a machine with a Pentium 4 Quad Core, 8800GT and more memory than you can shake a stick at (HEHE GET IT?). I'm usually playing some Team Fortress 2 or whatever the flavor of the day may be.
