Rock Band online sucks. But not anymore!
manta | 10:57 AM on 06.08.2008 5 comments

Sick and tired of going online and finally getting a full band, only to find out that somebody doesn't have ANY DLC and is playing Bass on Easy? Fear not! For an awesome dude that goes by the gamertag nonzzero has created a site that rocks your face off!

Rock Band DLC Hero (Ok, the name might need work) is a website created by Jared Collums (AKA nonzzero). For a description of the site, here's a quote from the man himself.

Basically, you sign up with your PSN ID/gamertag and select all the DLC that you have. After that you can search the database of gamers for people who have bought the same songs as you. If you're trying to put a band together you can even search for people who like to play specific instruments. After that it's up to you to contact them and (hopefully) ROCK OUT.

That's it. It's simple, it rocks, and the more people that sign up the better it works! So head over there NOW and sign up today!

PS Here's my page http://dlchero.erraticinc.com/ps3/manta89. Feel free to add me!

Is this post awesome? Vote it up!

that's cool i guess but how is band formed with no real instruments? i got one the other day, one of my fuck buddies came over and played the slobber blues on the skin flute, so good i needed an encore 20 minutes later. she's a hell of an artist, a real musician that one is, she's gonna go deep and wide to start her career. lol. manta, where were you last night? i made yojimbo leave twice to the atm at poker.

I've been out and about. My brother graduated from high school this week, so this weekend we've been partying.

I prefer playing Bass in RockBand, since I was a bassist in a local punk band for several years. So if you're looking for someone, who has all DLC (yes, I buy everything because I'm stupid) and plays bass on expert, send me a message/invite or something.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

 about me

Hey.

My name's Steve and I'm currently going to school at the University of Idaho.

I have a ballin' PC and PS3. You can reach me on steam or MSN @ steveb468@hotmail.com or on PSN @ manta89.

Currently Playing:
