there's a new site that adds a twist to the usual news ticker - user's pick the stories and it's called digg.

yes, it's true. user's pick the news story they want to share and submit it. other users who like the story "digg it", and when it gets enough "diggs" it reaches the front page, where thousands of users can digg it, or "bury it" if they don't like it or disagree with it.
