Okay I really like the whole 1up media guys but when they start bashing one of the best communities ever that crosses the line. I say this because on Ryan Scott's blog he says the story about the Mario Galaxy's box art that Jim put up last night, and all the comments just keep on bashing us and making fun of us. This makes me chose sides now because I love Destructoid but I also love 1up. The site is below just look at the comments.

I posted a comment on that blog. Doesn't mean I'm choosing sides. I still love the rest of the 1up, EGM, and GFW team. Screw, Ryan.

"Why are such a bitch, Ryan? It's all in good fun, Jesus. And it's not like 1Up is a prime example of maturity in gaming. Have you not seen or heard the 1up radio podcasts or 1Up show?

It was a slow news day. And plus, it's a blog website. The whole reason I go there is for my half news, half entertainment reading. That's why I choose to read the news on Destructoid over here. You people are just so damn characterless."

I still think Ryan is awesome from GFW. I wish I had his job actually, I just wanted to say that so when the GFW guys don't kill me on their podcast because Shawn Elliot is my hero.

That's a shame, 1UP is the only good corporate gaming site, and all the people who work there are real, non-fake people who genuinely care about their work.

I agree with you Necros. With the podcasts and the 1up Show they really put a voice behind what I read which I don't get from other sites and magizines.

Don't blame the editors for some of their community members acting like asstards. The commenters in question are probably a bunch of single-minded bandwagon jumpers. It's not like anyone cares about their opinions in the real world anyway, they just know you have to scroll past their shitty comments to get to the good ones.

with 1up being my almost primary source for gaming news, I'm not really surprised. After listening to GFW Radio for a couple of months, you get used to this kind of stuff. They have their high and their lows.

You listen to GFW Radio too? That is one of my favorite podcast. And I put a comment at the end to bring it up on the podcast and I agree now Jon I was just angry for a bit.

I listen to GWF as well. I myself don't give a care about Ryan Scott. He never talks on the Podcast in the first place. He pokes in every once in a while with his soft voice.

I agree with Ryan Scott.

The problem with Destructod -- particularly with the community blogs -- is that spammers, idiots, and blog posts that have nothing to do with games get the most attention while anything that is remotely seriously related to gaming gets ignored.

Why make a post here when someone else who posts stupid shit suitable for an 8 year old gets more attention.

Why is that the top story on Gametab? I love the goofy joke posts that pop up now and then, but the story doesn't deserve that much attention.
