My name is Matt, been a long time fan of Destructoid and games in general. First time I have written a blog, not telling you to be gentle like other new posters do; I like it rough ;P
Are you a Early adapter to the PSP like me? Did the news that Skype will be PSP Slim/2000 piss you off? Well, good news!
Thanks to the ever amazing PSP hacking scene, the Noobz team have made a VoIP phone for both the PSP slim and phat. The catch? It's still in beta, so there are some audio problems and Video isn't Quite there yet. Also you have to have a PSP 1.5 or Custom firmwared PSP; but honestly, if you haven't been using your PSP for emulators and homebrew just what have you been doing with it? Or has it been collecting dust like your other Sony products?
If anyone is interested in trying this out you can look here
No? well you can make yourself a PSP power adapter. Here is what you do, hold a PSP with one hand. Then, with the other hand, jam a fork into an electrical outlet. Wait about five minutes, and your PSP will be fully charged. Also works with a toaster if you don't have an outlet free.
Go ahead, you will be one of the very few to try it. Therefor, an 'early' adapter.
Heh, wow that was a dumb way to justify my errors.
I was able to play with Skype on the PSP slim at CES. It seems to have a lot of potential. It's too bad I bought a PSP right when it first came out. Now I have to find someone to buy my old PSP so I can get a new one.
I'm not so upset about being an early adapter with Sony as I am with Nintendo. You seem to get screwed every time with the handhelds if you buy it early. There will always be a better handheld announced a year after you buy one. Or maybe it just seems like that.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

No, I'm not an early "adapter".
You sir, have spelled "PSP Fat" wrong.
That is because it isn't "Fat" to me. It's PHAT, as it is sexier than FAT.
Now if you excuse me, I have to get my big rubber ball gag on for future posts.
ShadowXOR "No, I'm not an early "adapter".
