Happy Birthday.
Buy a used PS3. Much cheaper and you'll never know the difference.
HAPPY BORFDAY!
Even though I don't think it's worth owning at this point, you should buy one while you can still get it with the Emotion Engine in it. The software for BC sucks ass.
Yeah, that's what forced my hand and made me buy the 60gb while it's still available. I know i'll end up playing $500 worth of LittleBigPlanet, Folklore, Warhawk, and PS2 games I never owned before, so it will pay off.
@ canned
software for BC?
plz elaborate, my anagram knowledge is low for game lingo haha.
GET DRUNK! and get a 360
Personally, I'd get the $499 one now. What @canned was trying to say is he $499 60gb model has the PS2 hardware (emotion engine is its codename) in it, and you are guaranteed backwards compatibility (BC) for all ps2 and ps1 games.
I agree with his choice, the new $349/$399 unit will probably be lacking a lot of bells and whistles, and will use software for BC.
If you are looking for software, there are a slew of titles coming out this holiday season, but stuff that's out? WarHawk, Resistance:Fall of Man, Elder Scrolls GOTY edition
It's my birthday TOO!
I've never known anyone with the same bday as me. Awesome.
