About Me
Well hello. My name is Ron, and yes i'm a nerd. Always have been always will be. Video games are my life. Without them i would probably be, I don't know outside playing sports, or doing something "constructive". I play action, adventure, survival horror, first person shooters, and just about anything else to raise my achievement score. At one point I was really big into rpgs, mainly the more obscure American releases. Now I prefer games that I can play in short bursts without having to worry about a long story to remember. And by short bursts I mean 4 -5 hours. I am an achievement whore. Can't stop won't stop. I like too many games, but if I had to choose a favorite I would have to say Dead Rising. On a hard day nothing brings a smile to my face quite like running over hundreds of the undead in a car, with the hood down. Then hoping out and killing more with my mega buster.

When I'm not playing games, I'm either on Myspace screwing around there, on Facebook screwing around there, or with friends. I enjoy going to the movies, hanging out, and going on adventures. Movies take up the second largest chunk of my life. I have a very odd taste in movies. mainly if the movie has something I really like or enjoy I label it as good. This is why I like movies like Daredevil, The One, House of the Dead, etc. But my friends trust my advice on films for the most part. If i don't like it you know it's bad. I'm actually in the process of trying to buy every single video game based movie. I'm only missing a few. Hopefully Hollywood keeps on crapping them out.

Now all that crap I take in from movies and games isn't wasted. I actually have a very good imagination. My only downfall is i need motivation to use it. One day i will find my calling in this world. Until then I'm going to keep raising my achievement score until Microsoft has no choice but to acknowledge me and give me a cookie.

Aborto's Sausage Free Ultimate Tag Team Contest.

So I thought I would give Aborto's Team Contest a try. This was of course inspired by the arrival of the world's most frantic 3 on 3 fighting game ever. Rival Schools 2, is a good guess but it is also wrong. I am in fact talking about Marvel vs. Capcom 2. MvC2 has found a new home on the Playstation Network, and Xbox Live Arcade, and fight fans couldn't be happier. Aborto has tapped into our natural want of free swag and asked everyone to come up with their own 3 man or woman dream team. I've already seen some pretty awesome trios, and I'm very confident my team could not only stand their ground, but possibly take out all those who stand in their way.

My team consists of the shape shifting, body surfing Alex Mercer, the passing through Kamen Rider Decade, and finally the cannibalistic soul swallowing Kirby. To me being versatile is everything. One of the best fighters in comic history is Batman. He is a very versatile fighter and can adapt to meet various situations. The same can be said of everyone on my list. Whether it be adapting their body to meet the situation head on, changing their form to counter whatever is before them, or absorbing the powers of their enemy to fight fire with fire. These guys are ready to rock.

By now you all have played, or at least seen Prototype. If not the game is about a man named Alex Mercer. he wakes up in the morgue to see some doctors performing an autopsy on him. Like any regular person he freaks out and escapes. This surprisingly isn't his biggest problem. His biggest problems are the fact that he can't remember a damn thing , the military is trying to kill him, and he just so happens to be a living breathing weapon. You see Alex has the ability to absorb and store mass. Mainly organic, but he can also absorb small amount of inorganic matter as well. He can then take this extra mass and shape shift, something very similar to the T-1000 from Terminator 2. He can turn his arms into weapons, fall from great heights without getting hurt, create armor, or disguise himself as one of his many victims. His powers do more than just help him fight and survive. His power to absorb matter also help piece together his shattered past. He not only takes the physical form of the person he absorbs, but also their memories. With this new found power he hopes to put back together his life, and save New York city...one mind at a time.

Mercer is very power and can do just about anything. That power and freedom were the reasons why I enjoyed Prototype so much. You could just spend hours running around, jumping from building to building, gliding up and down the streets like a homicidal flying squirrel that was just looking for a reason to kill someone. When you got your fill of exploration you could climb to the tallest building, lock on to some poor fool 100s of stories below you and just cannon ball towards him at break neck speed. Turning him, and everyone within a 10 foot radius of him into a bloody mess. Mercer can do more than just run around and jump really high. He can augment his offensive abilities by morphing his arms into several deadly forms. He can turn his arms into giant claws, that would put Wolverine's to shame, 3 ton mass hammers, that look like organic Hulk hands, but cause way more damage and destruction, a giant blade for those that like to slice tanks and helicopters in half just as easily as they do people, arms that quadruple his strength, giving him the power to throw heavier objects harder and further, and turn anyone he punches into a red mist, and finally my personal favorite he can turn his arm into a whip that lets him slice people in half at a distance, grab people and objects that are out of reach, and it lets him hitch a ride on any helicopter in range, thus making it easier to hijack. But with all that offensive power he wouldn't leave himself open. Defensively he can turn everyone around him into free health by absorbing them. Sometimes you may find yourself under heavy fire while trying to escape, for this he can create a shield. It's very durable and it allows him to plow through cars and people as he tries to find a nice quiet place to grab a bite to eat. But when you decide to take the fight to them, you can don his full body armor. Due to his weight he loses the ability to sprint and glide, but he can still get around if need be. Plus he still has access to all of his offensive powers. So he can sit there taking damage while giving out so much more. And just like any power house, Alex is capable of pushing himself to kill everything around him with one move, or focus all of his hate and rage into one target. These Devastator moves allow Alex to cause spikes to erupt from the ground all around him skewering everything around him, or he can release a devastating tentacle attack that spreads out causing much more damage. And if the situation calls for it he can unleash a concentrated stream of these tentacles into a single target.

Adding Alex to the MvC3 roster would be insane. Just imagine all he could. He could be set up with a high number of special moves. Just enter a button combination and he will shift his arms, giving him access to some different moves. Also I can see his combos being pretty crazy with his arms changing to different weapons between blows, then chain that into a body surf, then pop them into the air to keep the party going. For a projectile he could have his ground spike, and he can use his whip fist to preform a Scorpion style "Get Over Here" move. And for his super attacks, his last Devastator would work perfectly, it would be like of those whole screen energy beams super moves, only it would be tentacles. His second super move could be the hardest move to pull off because it requires a good opening and great timing. Basically if you connect he grabs the opponent and randomly does one of his absorption animations as he flat out kills them, and restores his health. It's tricky to do but the payoff would be worth it. I mean really, just imagine him jumping on the Hulk and violently stomping on his head, then you see the green monster vanish into Alex, FOREVER!!!

Next up is Tsukasa Kadoya a.k.a Kamen Rider Decade. Tsukasa is arrogant, stubborn, and for the most part a dick. But he is much deeper than he lets on, and he is very compassionate about those in trouble. He is a Kamen Rider who is out on a journey across the different worlds to right the wrongs, restoring balance, thus saving his temporary world from destruction. You see, there are 10 different versions of Earth. Each one has it's own set of Kamen Riders. But something happened which has caused the other 9 worlds to begin merging with his. Each world is going through some sort of crisis, and solving those is only made more complicated by the fact that Decade is known as the Destroyer of Worlds. So he must prove himself to that world's Kamen Rider, while aiding them in their struggle.

Like all Kamen Riders, Tsukasa uses a belt to Henshin (transform). But his belt use cards. These cards not only allow him to Henshin, and preform various attacks, but they also allow him to change into one of the 9 other Kamen Riders. While in their forms he has access to all of their weapons, skills, and powers. And for the Riders who have alternate forms he can use his Form Ride Cards to access them. When around one of the other Riders Decade is able to use his Final Form Ride cards. These cards transform the other riders into powerful weapons or tools. Once in these forms he can use his Final Attack Ride cards to unleash a very devastating move. When the situation seems particularly tough Decade can call upon the power of his K-Touch, to transform him into his ultimate form Complete Form. While in Complete Form Decade can use his Final Kamen Ride cards. These summon the selected Rider in their ultimate form. The Rider mimics Decades movement and together they preform a very powerful joint attack.

Decade would be a cool entry because of his various forms. Each form could have it's own moves and combos, he each one could even have it's own super attack. To cut some extra stuff out they could only give him access to the 9 other original Rider forms, plus he would be able to go into his Complete Form. This way they all can have more moves, and during combos they could alternate between their different forms, or certain advanced moves can cause a brief change in form to dish out a stronger attack. As for his super moves, one could just be the finishing move of which ever Rider he is at that time. His second one could be his regular secondary finishing move using his Ride Booker in gun form. This would basically be another full screen beam attack.

Rounding out my dream team is the one and only Kirby. Kirby is a little pink puff ball with arms and legs. He is kind, caring, and loyal. He uses his powers to save Dream Land, and to protect the innocent.

What makes Kirby so deadly is his ability to inhale with such force that he creates a powerful vacuum capable of drawing people and objects much larger than him. Because of how elastic his body is he can expand his mouth and body to consume whatever he just sucked in. If it's a regular enemies, projectile, or other inanimate object he can only expel them as a powerful star shaped projectile. But where Kirby really shines is when he consumes an enemy with an ability. He can either spit them out, or swallow them. If he swallows these enemies he gains their abilities. He is basically a cute, pink little version of Sylar from Heroes. And this is what gives him an edge. No one ever expects to cute little pink ball smiling in the corner. And when they realize something is up, it's already too late.

We've all already seen what Kirby is capable of in 2D fighting game. He really has no reach with his short little arms and legs, but he makes up for that with pure sucking power. Just imagine him consuming the Hulk or Ironman. It would look funny, plus it would be rather cool. Kirby would be one of those characters that only skilled players would really use, because his move set would slightly change to reflect the person he consumed, and casual players aren't going to try to familiarize themselves with characters they might never play as. Still he would be interesting to watch. For his super moves he should be able to do a super suck. This move is un-blockable so you either have to hit Kirby or try to get around him. Anyone in front of him will be pulled towards his open mouth, where they will automatically get sucked in. Aside from the power and range, the difference between his vacuum special move and his vacuum super move is it can cancel out other super moves. So if Cyclops fires off his super optic blast just as Kirby goes into his super he will actually just suck up the beam, leaving him in a more puffed up state. His second super move can only be used in this state, but when activated Kirby opens his mouth and expels hundreds of stars towards his opponent.

And there you have it. This would be my ultimate team. Why, because you really have no idea what to expect from any of them. Their shape shifting and ability altering powers will constantly have their foes guessing. Because Alex is an unstoppable force, powered by a rage that can not, and will not be contained. Decade has 10 years of experience, and 9 of the strongest fighters at the palm of his hand. And lets not over look Kirby who is just itching to give any challenger a taste of his/her own medicine. And just to make things more interesting we got Kirby locked in a box, and we are going to starve him while we blast "Who Let the Dogs Out?". Then when it's go time, we will unleash the beast. ALL UP IN YO ASS...ARRFFFF ARRFFFF!!!
