see Punisher Warzone. This movie felt like the stupidly fun version of Batman: The Dark Knight. Now before anyone has a freaking stroke. I'm not saying it was as good as Batman or even close, in the story, plot, or dialogue department. But you will be on the edge of your seat waiting for what comes next. The action, the violence is the main draw here. I mean what more could you expect from a movie based on a "superhero" that just runs around killing everyone that so much as farts in his general direction?
Now if you still can't tell, I really enjoyed the movie. Don't listen to the reviews or anyone for that matter that says it is a bad movie unless it sounds like this. The movie wasn't that great, BUT, when he starts killing you forget you are watching a bad movie. To me, everything worked well here. I liked the cast, they all played their parts well. But really, this wasn't a movie created to win any Oscars, or to mark a new chapter in film making history. The story was straight forward, but entertaining. But it was really only there to place a name with the bodies, and to give an explanation as to why they are dying. Ray Stevenson does a good jo or portraying the trouble, psychopathic Frank Castle on his one man war against crime. Dominic West plays the main antagonist Jigsaw. You also have Doug Hutchison as Jigsaw insane brother, Newman a.k.a Wayne Knight, and Dexter's Julie Benz. This lady stays busy. She is in everything nowadays.
Anyway, no one is really going to watch this movie for the stars, and fewer are going to watch it for the story. The real reason people will be going to see this is for the over the top violence, which Lionsgate films is known for. To get a better understanding of how violent this movie is, go play Fallout 3, then level up so you can get the Bloody Mess perk. Shoot someone in the face at point blank range with a shotgun, and you will understand what I mean. Most of the deaths are just unexpected and in your face. Me and my friend have this thing we do, where we give names to particular death animation in games, or on film. I don't want to ruin anything for anyone by describing them, so I will remain quiet. But by far the best one in the movie is The Last Parkour a.k.a The Unexpected.
Overall Punisher: Warzone is a fun movie, and is worth watching. Guys should go in groups to fully enjoy this because you will be pumped after watching it, plus it will be fun going over your favorite kills in the movie. On a side note, don't take your girlfriend, unless you want to watch Sister Hood of the Traveling Pants 3 later on down the road, because most"normal" girls are not going to like this movie. But for it's action, black comedy, and over the top violence I give it 4 bullet holes out of 5.
